Dreams..for some could mean a castle in the clouds while for some others it could mean a nebulae of clouds gone adrift! Dreams mean different things to different people, for some it is hope and optimism while for others it could imply finishing last in a marathon race!

All of us like to dream dreams which are saccharine and full of life. But many a times they turn out to be like those clouds which for a moment look within our grasp and the next moment seem far away. Yes, some dreams are meant to fail, some hopes are meant to be grounded.
Just imagine if everybody in this world got everything they dreamed then it would be a great world bereft of worries and disappointment. Unfortunately it does not happen like that and only few dreams become reality. Disappointment at the failure of a dream keeps the faith alive in this five letter word- DREAM!
Some dreams are like a fresh pitcher prepared out of clay. When the liquid of expectations fills this pitcher, it invariably breaks. It won’t be wrong to say that some dreams are meant to be lived while some others are meant to be forgotten. Many a times we follow dreams with lot of hope but end up with failure. Well it is hard to digest this failure given the effort which we put in its pursuit but we should understand that few dreams are like grains of sand; no matter how hard we try we fail to hold the grains in our palms.

A few dreams look good in the eyes of the people who see and realise them. While for the others they tend to vaporise or melt and flow in the form of warm tears. Some live a dream and die with it! While others live with numerous dreams in their lifetime so the failure of one particular dream does not deter them from dreaming. A classic example in this regard is
Albert Einstein.

Dream my friends.. but be aware that there might not be light at the end of every tunnel of dream.

All the jubilations of the first test were silenced as the Indian team meekly capitulated in the second test at Durban. The team failed to live up to the expectations of the first test match in both departments of the game. But more importantly it was the batting which proved to be achilles heel for the Indian team.
In both the innings, the openers failed to give the team a solid start and the team lost one of them within five to ten overs! Sehwag has not learnt from his mistakes and the chips for sure look down for this flamboyant batsman.
In a foreign tour, only players with the tenacity and the
temprament to adjust and learn quickly survive and score runs. And unfortunately Sehwag has failed to show both these traits. He continues to feel the balls outside off stump and fends for them. These are the deliveries which have brought about his downfall.
I can vivdly recollect that when Sachin Tendulkar was peppered with short pitch deliveries in the last tour of South Africa by the likes of Pollock and Hayward, he adapted very well and came with a typical hook shot which fetched him a boundary above the slips. A classic example of learning in times of adversity!
It is clear that the earlier Sehwag learns from his mistakes the better for the Indian team as there is only more test match left in this tour.
Another inadequacy that has been revealed is the Indian batsmen’s discomfort in playing fast and short pitch deliveries. The batsmen got starts but did not convert them which cost the team the second test match.
The bowling department too struggled and my apprehensions regarding the absence of a speedy fast bowler in the Indian team came true in this test match. The seam attack looked similar and it was the absence of a bowler like Ntini in the Indian team that made the entire difference.

It was the cumulative effort of Nitini and Nel that brought Indian team’s downfall within 50 overs on the final day.Lack of application, resolve and discomfort in playing fast deliveries are warning signs for the Indian team. Signs to come up with a better game plan and approach in the final test at Cape Town.
