I have checked many portals this year like top iit, cbaseguess.com.. even pagalguy. They all look busy and do not fit well with web 2.0. With Shiksha entering this market will change. They are using better technologies and are attractive. I could not understand why a student will just browse ajaxified courses, coaching centers, eents, scholarships (probably exception)... I see concrete value in Ask & Answer as they may help students in a more personalized way. The directory system will be biased as they are the ones who are paying money. I also came across another focussed education portal that I like very much HelloChampion.com. It's sexy and relevant. Portals like IndiaEducation.Net will bite dust. Thank you for nice coverage.
