Indian Government threatened by the CAG Report on Coal allocations!

The recent Controller and Auditor General of India report on the coal allocations by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has threatened the stability of the government. The CAG accuses the Prime Minister of negligence during the allocation of 44 billion tons of coal to private companies in the capacity of a coal minister.

What is the fate of the Indian Government after the CAG Report?

What is the fate of the Indian Government after the CAG Report?

This is being strongly supported by the opposition parties like BJP and the others who demanded Dr Singh’s resignation after a brief NDA meeting on Monday evening. It is said that the Prime Minister gave away this huge amount of coal in negligible prices that ultimately led to a loss of Rs 1.86 lakh crores to the nation. While the government is ready for any kind of tussle with the opposition, looks like the opposition will not settle for anything less than the PM’s resignation. So what will be the fate of the government? Any guesses?
