The Deathly Hollows as we all know deals with Potter’s quest to find Voldemort’s secret to immortality – the Horcruxes. It is only for us to see how successful the makers will be in putting this on the big screen. There’s always a high degree of comparison between the book and the movie and even this time it seems inevitable!

The first part of Deathly Hollows came forward as a movie on 19th November last year and was well received by the audiences. It made a collection of 954 million dollars breaking the records created by Toy Story 3 and Alice in Wonderland. It is also seen surpassing the records of its preceding movie The Philosopher’s Stone.  This raises the bar for the second part and leaving the audience with higher expectations. The fate of the second part of this adventurous fiction will be decided on the 15th of July. It is directed by David Yetes and written by Steve Kloves. David Heyman and David Barron are co producers of the movie along with writer J K Rowling. Although both the parts were shot back to back they were to be treated as two separate films. The idea of splitting the film into two parts came when the makers realized that it was necessary if justice is to be rendered to every word of the book. In their opinion it would be impossible to maintain the intensity of the story unless broken into two parts.
