Fashion Reality Shows of 2013

The New Year is just around the corner, and for those who’re addicted to reality shows, there are going to be a lot of fun shows premiering in 2013. The coming year promises a good load of quality reality shows from the fashion front.

The best part about reality shows is the “reality” factor in them; while some may be more out there than others, you can get excellent education sitting at home when a professional is involved.

And that’s what makes them even more exciting and worthwhile. Not only do we get caught up in the lives of the lead stars, or the contestants in the contest, we grow with them and develop a sense of affection toward them. The most anticipated reality shows for all fashion lovers coming up next year are:

1. The Rachel Zoe Project Season5

I can’t get any better advice than from the celebrity fashion stylist Rachel Zoe herself. Entering a successful new season, fashion lovers can get many updates on the world of fashion and styling ideas from the fabulous Rachel Zoe.

2. Styled to Rock

A new show starring the infamous Rihanna herself! She’s also producing the show. It will be a competition akin to Project Runway; only in her show the 12 contestants will be styling a celebrity for each task. Talk about great exposure for the participants!

Now here’s a full-on dose of stardom and fashion mixed together from us. Considering the fact that Rihanna is the brains behind the show, we won’t be disappointed. The date for the show has not yet been announced, but it will be airing on the Style Network.

3. Kourtney and Kim take New York Season 3

This isn’t your typical fashion reality show, but since this particular spin-off is set in New York, we undeniably will be getting fashion updates. There are only a few places in the world where the most stylish will rethink their clothes and wardrobe, and New York is one such city.

The Kardashian divas are no fewer fashionistas themselves; especially after having their own clothing line with Sears, they’ve shown that they are serious and passionate about all things stylish.

4. Project Runway Season 11

Our very favourite, nothing is as cutting-edge fashion-forward as the Project Runway! This season, however, there will be some big changes; Michael Kors has left the show as a permanent judge and replaced Zac Posen. The contestants will be competing in teams, too—the show premiers in mid-January 2013.

There is no doubt that 2013 is bringing a lot of fun fashion love to its fans all across the globe. With the recession seeming to show some positive signs, wardrobe enhancement may be on the minds of many.

So for being thrifty with the cash and on point with the styling, the reality shows can greatly assist. After all, we all want to look fabulous at the end of the day without the insane price tag (unless, of course, you can afford it).
