To all the Fashionistas out there here’s an update about the top fashion trends this season. Personally I feel one should wear the right outfit at the right time in order to make a fashion-statement otherwise it would only be a fashion faux pass!
Here are some top trends to get you started this season:
After its appearance six months ago on the fashion runways this trend has caught on like fire. It has become a huge hit among the women throughout the globe especially as its very flattering to those who are bit full figured. Check out Beyonce Knowlesrocking this style in a tangerine peplum dress.
Who says only men can wear blazers, women can rock this style any time of the day be it to the office or casual lunch or a party. It’s very versatile. The pretty Diana Penty wore a pretty light pink blazer and teamed it with a pair of jeans and white top to make a causal and chic statement at the promotion of Cocktail in Mumbai.
Floral prints are huge this season. With winter around the corner add a bit of color and femininity to your outfit by wearing a floral print blazer or a dress or just shoes to brighten a dull outfit. Feminine, colorful and beautiful that’s what they make you!
All those bookworms who thought that fashion is not for them can rejoice as designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Dsquared2 have embraced this trend. It’s all about being preppy and individualistic. Think ‘Big Bang Theory’ for a geeky day look with wide rimmed glasses, super hero t-shirt and chinos, for an evening look go for oversized glasses (very important for this look), stilettos, sequined shorts and if you’re the adventurous type add a bow tie!
You can never have enough accessories! Having a few trinkets to match your outfits isn’t that hard! Get lots of bracelets this season with a chunky watch (Aldo has some amazing watches) and stock up on a few statement pieces to not only make heads turn but break necks!
So go ahead and be fabulous!
